All of Chronicle' stock reports and all of the reports you or others have saved can be accessed through this one tab.
There are six basic areas for reports listed on the screen and in the report lists:
- Production
- Financial
- Marketing
- Labor
- Collections
- Other
These areas can further be broken down in to different types of reports using the drop-down menu above the report list:
- Collections
- Contacts
- Financial
- Graphs
- Job list
- Labor
- Marketing
- Production
- Sales
- Tasks
- Other
You can further break down the reports by stock reports, reports you created or reports shared by others. Simply check one or more boxes. If you wish to see who created the reports the go to the ≡ menu and select to add the column "created by" to your list.
Lastly, if you know the name of the report and do not wish setup the report to find it each time, simply type in its name in the search field. You do not need to hit enter either, as soon as you start typing Chronicle will start looking for the report for you.
Setting up a sample report:
1. On the Jobs tab I have created a custom search for all jobs that have an unsold department on it and I have saved this search. I can then find it in the reports list under the job list type and my reports. I can also view it from the Jobs tab saved reports list.
2. I select the Collections manager and set up the conditions for the data I wish to see. At the top of the manager I save the report conditions. It is the available from the Reports tab under Collections. 3. I am viewing the active job detail report and I only want to see the jobs I am associated to. First, I open the report, set the conditions, and run. Then save the report. To find in my report list first start out by viewing "any" reports that are mine. That way you can see what type it is for future reference. I can also view it from the jobs tab saved reports list. |
