A task is a specific action that is assigned to a particular person. This could be related to a specific job (like “sheetrock walls for Laketown job” or “call Tom B to get estimate”), or it could be something that isn't related like taking a vehicle in for servicing or attending a staff meeting.
Chronicle lets you define the categories for the types of tasks that can be assigned.
Chronicle initially comes set up with only a General and Recall/Followup task categories. The types of tasks that different businesses might want to track vary to widely for us to provide a standard set.
If you are not sure what type of tasks you want to track, you can skip these categories for now and come back to it when you have a clearer idea of how you are using the tasks option.
