Instead of using a sticky note stuck to your computer screen, Chronicle allows you to create Reminders and Follow Ups which have some tracking abilities associated. There is also an older function of the program that still exists in a couple of places called Recalls. These Recalls are not as robust as Reminders are and should not be used.
This is how Reminders and Follow Ups work compared to the old Recalls:
