As your number of jobs increases, it becomes increasingly difficult to remember what equipment is where, whether everything got brought back from each job, and what billable equipment was used for each job. So you don’t lose equipment and so you can bill for equipment if appropriate, Chronicle lets you keep track of what you have and who it’s assigned to.
To monitor the use of equipment, you must first enter the equipment into Chronicle, and then it must be associate it with particular people or jobs either manually or automatically. Then you’ll be able to quickly determine which equipment is at a particular job, which equipment is out, or which equipment has been out for more than a certain number of days and determine its costs.

The equipment that the company provides to employees and the equipment that your employees take to sites varies depending on what services you provide and one what you want to track with Chronicle. You will probably need to do some customizing so that these categories everything you need and that don’t include items that aren’t relevant to you. You can add new categories at any time, but you don’t want to delete categories that you’ve entered equipment in, so you want to think about how you want to categorize your equipment before you get started. All pieces of equipment entered has an equipment file where you can track all email, notes, pictures of and documents about the equipment. You can also track the cost per day of the equipment. You will only see Logikos Equipment listed if you have opened a Logikos Overview account and linked it to Chronicle. |
