With our latest version of Chronicle Mobile, you can now import JPEG photos into jobs from your camera roll!
Your photos must be in JPEG format to import them. You can determine what format the photo is in by selecting the photo from the camera roll and using the 'i' for the information icon. If you are to upload a HEIC photo, Chronicle Mobile will let you know that that format is unsupported.
iPhone, by default, uses its proprietary HEIC format. This can be changed by selecting compatibility mode by going to Settings > Camera > Formats.
Live photos should also be disabled on your device. This can be changed by selecting the bullseye on the photos app to disable it.
On iPhone 15 models, the Main camera resolution is set to 24 MP by default which can make adding a lot of photos challenging as Chronicle Moble only allows 50MB of photos in one document. You can switch between 12 MP, 24 MP, and 48 MP. Go to Settings > Camera > Formats > Photo Mode, then choose 12 MP so that you can fit more images in one document.
