Finding People with Specific Skills

Once you have entered skills for your employees or subcontractors, do this to find people with specific skills.

1. On the Reports tab you can search for the Skill Manager. Make sure to check stock, as this manager has been created for you.  
2. In the Search By options at the left, indicate whether to search by Category or Subcategory. Which you would use depends on how specific you want your search to be. For example, if you want anyone with carpentry skills, you would search by Category; if you only wanted people with cabinet repair skills then you would search by subcategory.
   
3. You will see a list on the right with names of people or organizations that have the skills you are looking for.
