The easiest way to track time is from the schedule where tap and slide to the left to reveal quick actions. One will be the the clock in which to tap to start and tap to end. This keeps employees in the Schedule instead of weeding through a job file to find the right job to start working on.
You can also go to the job as described below to start/stop time tracking.
- To track time for a particular labor activity, from the job screen, tap the "+" in the upper right corner and select "start labor activity".
- Tap to start and select the activity you are doing.
- Repeat the above process and tap to stop the time tracking when the activity is done. You can also stop any labor that is running from the main screen.
To Finish Importing Labor
Time Tracking creates labor records that will be saved on the Import Labor screen in Chronicle's Labor Manager. You must remember to manually finish the import into the Labor Manager from your desktop as you would do with calendar events. Then Chronicle will associate the job hours to the correct job file. The source of these labor records will be identified as "mobile device".
