If you accidentally enter an office for the wrong organization, you can move the office to the correct organization. You might also need to move an office if you accidentally entered an organization twice with some offices under one and the rest under the other. (You’d move all of the offices to one of the organizations and then delete the one that had no offices left.)
To move an office to a new organization:
- In the organization list, double-click the organization that contains the office you need to move.
This opens the organization/office detail screen.
- Right-click the office to move, and click Move [Office] to Another Organization.
You could also click the office and click Tools: the same option is there.
- In the window for finding an organization, type the first few letters of the name of the organization to move the office to, select the organization, and click OK.
